Shunt Shuttle in rescue mode with '85 3FE'd FJ60 on trailer. I think the fuel pump died. Thanks again Eric.

NO PROBLEM!
It only took me about 15 seconds to decide that I was canceling my afternoon and making sure you got to a GOOD place to do repairs... YOUR house!

It's rare, but if you look hard enough... You can sometimes find a stranded Cruiser...

HA! HA!. Anytime you need an excuse to cut work just give me a call ;) . My old Cruisers are always in need of some repair ...

You know... Had it been something that coulda been fixed on the side of the road, you wouldn't have needed me. Kinda like the one time I recognized my t-stat was stuck closed on my way to Montgomery, and stopped, pulled it out, then kept on trucking. After a 20 minute cool down of course... But pulled it for a few days none the less.

Fixed. If I had a copy of the FSM with me a paper clip I could have been up and running. Fuel pump was good but it was the circuit opening relay (COR) that died. In the diagnostic port by jumpering the FP and B+ ports the COR can be bypassed and the fuel pump will run. Replaced the COR and all is good...for now.

What? Hangin' out with me and spending a few extra hours with Cruiser ain't enough?? Next visit to Outback will be on me.

You know I'd do it all over again, even knowing how it would play out. BUT, I'll take you up on the Outback deal! ROH TAHDE!
