I wonder if my installing a Prinsu roof rack a few years ago had anything to do with my loss of the gps function.the two were real close timewise, but I concluded that the gps antenna in the ‘11 LX is under the dash. Does anyone know if there is any gps wiring going to the rear of the vehicle?
I am about to tear back into the dash and see if there are any loose connections to the head unit. Again.
As far as I know the GPS antenna is in the dash. Do you have anything on the dash ?

Clean as a whistle. Trying to figure out why I also get the map locator function showing me moving in the wrong direction a little bit more each time I drive somewhere. As of now, it shows me in Wyoming, about 200 miles from where I really am. If GPS was down, why would it show me moving at all?

I can't see how the there would be an issue with the GPS if you never have had the radio out. There are many features on the map screen that make things confusing.
