Alright everyone. I've been searching a lot trying to figure out what tire size i should run. I've got a 1988 toyota pickup with the 22re. i installed a trail gear 3 inch sas kit. I've been measuring with a tape measure to try and figure out what tirre size would fit. preferebly without trimming. I really want 35s. i can get a brand new set of 35x12.50 15 super swamper ltb. for about 1100. Can i. fit these 35s?

I think with the TG kit you are at more like 4" with the bracket, should be more than enough. My son has an '86 SAS 4Runner and I think the same setup (PO did it) and easily clears 35's and could run 37's. Don't forget to change your gear ratios!

37's are the new 35's.

I figured i could fit 35s. And i already istalled 5.29 ratios while i was doing the sas. Also, on your sons 4runner. are the fenders trimmed at all?

If you use the 3" bump stop drops, and do not run wheel spacers, 37's will fit.

The biggest reason tires will rub is if you have too much of a scrub radius.
