I'm pretty stoked that Santa remembered me. It would have been great if he had dropped off a welding elf, but maybe we can have a local wrenchathon?!
Possibly Mike C., Bruce, Mike, etc would be willing to weld for the right price? I'd help and make it worth your while!

Awesome!! See the lunch thing worked. I can help hold them up but I can't weld to save my ass. I know Mike is supposed to be getting a Miller soon but no word yet. Bruce does have a machine but I need to find his number and see if he's up to it.

I'm eye'n a Miller 175 on OKC on eBay. If that fails I'll order the new 180 with a cart from Linweld Monday or Tuesday. Of course ya prolly don't want me practicing on your Taco

No, not yet. I'm lucky that Mike wants to do things the best way, and since my frame/body is different than the 80s, it's going to take some fabrication & welding (so they're not just welded to the frame).

I've got some sweet tacoma-slider plans, it's just a matter of finding a weekend that works. Now I have to go to FL for a course, so it will be put off another week or two. I'll just take it easy if I wheel prior to the sliders.

I'll check back when I return, hopefully I won't get sun burnt ;p
