$100 bucks would be a fair price, you could probably get them blasted and powercoated for $300!!! Shop around. Ask Greytandy what he paid to powedercoat his.

I don't know my way around B'more but I can ask my motorcycle buddies a good place to go.

Baltimore being the industrial city that it is there has got to be a good place up there somewhere. I'll talk to MC buddies. I'll also talk to Dave McComsey, he might know of someone up north of you. The further you get away from a major metro area the cheaper it is going to be.

Sourbeer just had a bunch of blasting done in Manassas by an outfit that does good work. He is on here as Staleale.

You were looking in the Baltimore, MD area so I didn't chime in...I used Sandblast America in Manassas and was very pleased with their work. Jeff and Chris are very helpful and good to work with.

Price can vary depending on the media used and what finish (if any) you want. They blasted and primed every body panel for my FJ40, including the hard top and doors as well as many small brackets, an extra door, and some extra body panels cut from another parts truck for $1000. Did the frame with primer and paint plus misc brackets and radiator frame for another $600.

bmore if you still need something media blasted ,give me a call 410-687-6868 . We specialize in automotive blasting, and we are in Baltimore Thanks Mark

thought i would post up how my rims came out. I ended up using BlastMan that posted a response on here. I dropped them off to them (near White Marsh, MD) on a Wed and had them back on a Monday. Great job and about half the price of everyone else I tried. If there are any MD crusierheads looks for some parts, bodies, frames to get blasted, I would suggest getting a quote from these guys.

Reviving this thread - hopefully. Anyone know of a good sandblast place in the area for my FJ40 frame? I've left messages for a guy in Baltimore, but got no response. Any ideas in Frederick? Northern VA? Anyone??

StaleAle just had some great work done in Manassas.

i know this isn't completely related, but thought i would show off the "new" steelies since they finally got installed yesterday. you wouldn't believe how hard a time i had getting someone to mount my old tires on these rims. no one would touch them since they 'were not the OEM tire size'...that's a new one to me, but apparantly every tire shop in Bmore is practicing that line when they see me walking up.
and yes, i know, it's November in MD- time to put my top back on. But it felt nice to get one more spin in before i officially close the warm weather season. that wind was vicious yesterday.

bmorefj40, if you have another vehicle, what I found works well, is to take in the tires and wheels and just tell the shop that they are for a large pickup, like a F250.

You may want to try a Walmart for this. When last I went, they charged $7/wheel to mount/balance, with no questions.

Good luck.
