Does anyone know of any tire companies in the area that use sand for balancing instead of wheel weights?

From what I've read on mud in the tech section, it sounds pretty interesting and I'd like to give it a try when I move to new larger tires.

Thanks!

sand is an abrasive using it would not be a good idea. go with these guys Tire Balancing Products i was referred to them by a fellow mudder and am very happy with the Dyna beads using them to balance out 34" ltb's

My toyo's only have a very minimal amounts of weights on 2 of the tires. The other 3 no weigts were required. Are you going above 35???

Unlike a few larger tires which are made in pie quarters, the toyo's are molded in 2 pieces (halves) This drastically improves the balancing. Worth the $.

I guess I used the term 'sand' too quickly and too loosely. The Dyna beads sounds like what I'm looking for - I just need to find someone in the area that can do it for me as I haven't the ability.

I was planning on going with the same 315/75/16 tire you are running - and probably the Toyo. I just thought the sand/bead balancing sounded pretty cool from a technology standpoint as it continues to 'adjust' as the tire wears or gets full of mud/snow. It constantly adjusts itself to wherever it is needed to keep balance, from what I've read.
