The new TengTools torque wrench arrived tonight. I had to grab a smaller torque wrench to cover the ranges required from 6Nm to 98Nm so far. So the rear main seal went back in after a thorough cleaning and new seal packing.

Lots of residue from old seal.



Cleaned up.



New seal installed.



Installed the new water pump.



Cleaned up the oil seal retainer surfaces and re-applied sealing packing. Replaced the Camshaft oil seal. Here's it's ready to go back in.



It's nice to see things going back together after so much dismantling of the motor.



All the timing elements are back in place with a new belt, new pulley and tensioner. All the bolts and nuts are locktited and torqued to specification.



I was careful to align the marks on the pulleys and then turned the motor over by hand - nothing fouled so hopefully I've got the timing set correctly.
