I’ve got about 140-150k on my GX, no issues so far with the SAIS but in reading a lot of forums I understand that this is a point of failure. When the weather warms up I’m thinking of opening up the intake manifold and inspecting the condition of the existing filter (perhaps it’s already gone and I’ve been lucky to not have any issues). I’ve seen a video on YouTube where the guy attaches, what I think is a UNI filter as a fix to prevent SAIS issues.
Anyone do this? If yes, what is the filter they used?
I’m not interested in the bypass kit, which I know a lot of people do.
Thanks
