I just bought a 95 4runner and the rear is sagging, Im told that is very common with that model. Im wondering if there is any way to fix it and what I need to do it with. Looking at it Im guessing it might just be new rear coils but im not sure and im to broke to take it anywhere.. any suggestions?

Installing new springs would be the best thing, the other option is to install a spacer.

Are you planning on a lift? If so, skip right to the lift, it will fix the sag.

You can also use a set of factory FJ80 springs to raise it up a couple of inches. Look in the classified section or on the FJ80 section for someone who is lifting their 80 series. Who knows they may just give them to you.

Downey 1.5" HD coils or All Pro Offroad spacers.

Do NOT use the Downey springs. Mine only last about 3 years, then they sagged again. Go for the OMEs.

Very easy install.

Had the Downey HD 1.5" coils for years and never had a problem. Their leaf springs, on the other hand...

I appreciate it, as always the guys on IH8MUD come to the rescue

You could also get some Home 2" spacers. They are poly and easy to put in. Macromotive used to sell them.

The JDM Spec 4Runner don't seem to sag like the US version. I wonder if they use different springs.

You Japanese are just lighter than us fat americans...
