I'm looking for a good offroad safety harness. What brand would you recomend and where should I buy it (on the net).

How do I figure out if I need a Y shoulder strap or just a normal one? I figure the Y keeps the straps on your shoulder better when you don't have two holes in the seat and the normal one provides two fixing point rather than just one.

What is the difference between a floor mount and a bolt in?

Do any of you guys have a latch and link system or is it just too long to buckle up? (The harness is going in my DD)

What do you think of a CROW 3" latch and link harness?

Sorry about the newbie questions but I looked in the threads and didn't find answers. Manufacturers don't explain the different options neither.
Thanks

I used the harness out of my buggy some years ago and couldn't wait to get it out of there and go back to the old lap belt. I couldn't reach my dash to turn anything on or off. I couldn't reach the cooler behind the seat. I couldn't lean out the side at all for front tire placement in obstacles. It made me nuts. I ended up putting it back in the buggy where it had a purpose in life. Unless you are going to do a "Desert snap roll" at freeway speeds it is just "Bling,Bling".

Crow makes a good one. Can't remember which online vendor: MAF or SOR has them.

summitracing.com has lots...simpson, rks, othser...
