Doing a lot of work to my 1986 FJ60. Thinking of having the aircleaner assembly and engine head powdercoated.
Would this be OK? Can it handle the heat under the hood?

Not sure about the head, but they do have different forms of coating like high jet coats.

I had my valve cover done at a big experienced pc shop. I asked the same question and he said the powder he was gonna use was good for like 400 degrees or something.
I'm sure the aircleaner is no problem at all.
