Good plan but the top seam on the radiator started leaking a couple of days ago so it's new radiator time for the 80. Between work, my kids "stuff", the prep for this non-event and now this problem with the 40 I'm a little overwhelmed. I'll work something out. Hell. I might just have to bring the little green stock 40 and putt around the parking lot and drink brandy!

A mechanic friend of mine said that when the radiators on the 80's start turning yellowish at the top that you had better get ready to replace them.

Wheelin's overrated sir ... :grinpimp:

I should have my Kawasaki and my Cruiser there so you can drive the Cruiser.

:flamingo:

since you're going to sit around and drink, can my son Jonas drive your kawasaki? he! he!

Sir you won't be alone on that drinking, you can count on me.

I am all stressed out again. I had to go see the Dr. for some of that relax pills that they give.

The Dr. gave me some tranquilizers, he said "it's all natural medicine". No anti-depressant this time.

They are working but kind of slow.

I know the beer theraphy is way faster, enjoyable & cheaper.

can't complain about that theraphy.

So can we camp Wednesday? I done took an extra day off to get there then.

The park is not open 7 days a week anymore. When Skids closed up shop in the little building by the camping area they went back to the old schedule. Camping is allowed Thurs -Sun. Now, that said, I done got the OK for our Pres to arrive Wednesday evening.... If you want to call and ckeck with BJ it's OK with me but you are takin the chance of spoiling the deal I got for Kowboy. God help you if you screw that up.....:popcorn:

Well I don't want to let Kowboy get lonely!!!

Stick with us Son ... you'll be fine.

10-4 sir!

I am trying to get out here Wednesday nite to San Antonio and arrive Thursday morning to HS.

The problem is that my kids get out on Thursday and my wife as usual, no green light yet from work.

We'll be there for sure!

Hey, you pulled the rear end apart instead of the t case. I thought the problem wa with the case!

Yep - one of the strangest issues I've ever had. Rear wheels jacked up and t-case in rear drive it growels and bucks like bad bearing or gear problems. Thing is.. sounds like it's coming from the transmission, feels like it's coming from the rear t-case, acts like it's coming from the rear end. My buddy Richard came over to have a look at it and did the old mechanics trick of holding a long screwdriver to your ear and against each component. He felt strongly it was coming from the rear end. I did find some metal in there and a fair amount of trash in the tubes but no smoking gun (so to speak). It was basically a junk yard axle four years ago when we built it so... Another buddy that sets up my gears for me is coming over to have a look before I put it all back together. Unless he finds something I missed I'm moving forward to the rear transfer case next.:crybaby:

Least your takin' advantage of the latest available diagnostic technology.

Bring the green 40.

Even though I'm very concerned and interested in the status of your Junk ... Fireman don't really give a s***.

He just wants to know if he can camp Wednesday. :grinpimp:

:flamingo:

Oh contrair my good man. I do care quite strongly about Daryl's junk. Not like that junk dammit, his rig, er... his Landcruiser. Yea, that's what I meant.

Who needs to read the newspaper's funnies on Sunday morning when you can come to the WToE forum and read some funny s*** here.

Daryl forget about the 40 and get the 80 going. I am sure we can keep up with kowboy.

I am sure he'll go over the rocks quicker but don't forget about the damn spring that keeps coming out of place. we'll catch up w/ him.

By the way sir, have you had your pit crew fix that spring for you?

A man with a plan......

Washed the camper yesterday & got a few parts ordered for the 80...... getting things things ready for Hot Springs.:steer:

do you carry any spare parts for the 80?

if you do which parts?

I only have spare parts for the 40 and on that one I know what I can break.

...as far as spares for the 80, just the tire, our truck has been nice to us.

I have been fixing the little things here and there.

what kind of spare should I carry other then the tire and tools and a lot of praying for things not to break.

looking forward for this trip!

gotta fix the radio since the fuse is out. it will be kind of hard travel 12 hrs w/ kids and wife w/out a radio.

You gonna make it Cllutchee? New job gonna let you off?
