Sorry about the phone thing - so many solisitors call I get kinda slow when I don't know who is calling. I reserved seven RV spots and right now one is "open". Here is what I have as of right now:

15 - Team Toleson
16 - Bodean

17 - Clifford(us)
18 - Kowboy
19 - Roger (may need a deeper spot for that long a$$ trailer)
20 - Fireman
21 - Clutchee (? maybe ?)
22 - Dixons (if ya want it)
23 - Richard & the gang
24 - Richard & the gang

The order will have to change to fit longer rigs as needed. In addition we will have several others to make room for like Woody, JP, Josh, etc. If I missed anybody we'll find room somewhere.

Thanks for the offer to help with the Rug Ratz Raffle - we'll take it! We're going to put out a cookie jar at the registration desk for anybody that wants to throw $5 or $10 in there to help out. With just a little help here we'll have this covered! Thanks to all who stepped up with offers to help!

And... I'll add your 3 rigs to the "registration" so you better get to work and get your rig ready!:steer::beer:

JP - you bringing the little trailer with the roof top tent right? I believe we will put you on the back side of #17 behind whoever ends up un that site. I think that will work for your 'lil rig Sir. It's a pull-through site so you will have access via the other road back to the tent camping area. Sound OK?

great sir! ...that should do it for us

I am trying to finish the damn 40 by then but who knows.

right now put me down for that one.

OK folks - might be a wrinkle in the camping situation - I'm still working on it. Here is what we have as of now:

15 & 16 - Cottonland bunch
17 & 18 - Kowboy and Roger
17 (back drive) - Domek

19 & 20 (two Arkansas Crawlers campers - John and Billy) they rent these spots year round and would prefer not to move them.

21 - Fireman
22 - Dixons

I'm going to have to move up the hill into the parking lot or by the office or something if the Arkansas Crawler guys don't decide to move. Clutchee is a maybe at this point an will have to move up by me if he shows as well. We will have power and water but not much shade. It will also be a high traffic area so :frown: we'll have to really watch the younguns!

23 & 24 Richard and Darren

25 - (? Reserved but I don't know who)

26-28 - JK Customs

That's all the folks I know of that I was supposed to make arrangements for. There are still some overflow RV spots left but these will have no power or water. You'll have to provide your own generator and the rate is reduced from $20 per night to $5 per night. Feel free to PM me if you need me to do anything more on this. I'm kinda hoping these guys decide to move up the hill and let us all camp together but as they are volunteering to work as guides for some of the new folks I feel like I need to let them decide and adjust my plans as necessary. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Just got the word from the Boss... Board Meeting is on Tuesday June 2nd.

I am officially in for this here gig!

Just added this update to the registration thread:

Update x2 - The fine folks with the Bayou State Landcruiser Association, with some help from the Cottonland Cruisers from Mississippi, have decided that this ain't gonna be no kinda party without some kinda food so they have decided to provide a free meal to everyone registered for this ride on Friday night! They plan to fry fish, hushpuppies, french fries, etc for all! I'll prolly burn some dogs for the few that don't care for fish as well. You will need to provide an ample supply of your beverage of choice and have the ability to stagger up to the pavilian Friday evening when ya smell the fish cooking. A big THANK YOU to the generous folks from BSLCA and the Cottonland bunch!!!!

Also, you have until the 26th to get on the list for a t-shirt! Let me know.

Later,

Darrell, I will be there with my ride along with Greg and Charles also. Do we need to register somewhere. If so let me know where. Running behind, been trying to finish the new ride. OH, Bodean I sent you another order.

Later,

Unfreakinbelievable - that's all I can say. Wouldn't have, couldn't have, happened without all the help from guys like you, Chris & Debbie, Nick, John, Kowboy, ...hell - the whole Cottonland, Bayou State, and WTOE family! I just hope it goes off well, the weather is nice, and all have a great time! :flamingo::beer::flamingo:

It always seems to go good with this bunch. Add alcohol and food and we have a good time! Thanks for heading this up. Can't wait! Only 2 weeks!

Later,

It's a good thing we have the food and booze lined up kuz my rig is bad sick! I've been fighting this driveshaft thing since Moab (tore up 4) and decided to upgrade to 1410 joints. Get the last yoke installed today and made up a damn fine 1410 driveshaft and it is now obvious that I have issues elsewhere. I think my np205 is about to blow and there is no time to rebuild it now. Gonna have to limp it around HS for this run then tear it down:crybaby::crybaby:

Keep that "snatch strap" ready Kowboy!(did I just say that?)

Just bring the 80 & wheel with us..... :meh:

Just bring the 80 & wheel with us..... :meh:

Good plan but the top seam on the radiator started leaking a couple of days ago so it's new radiator time for the 80. Between work, my kids "stuff", the prep for this non-event and now this problem with the 40 I'm a little overwhelmed. I'll work something out. Hell. I might just have to bring the little green stock 40 and putt around the parking lot and drink brandy!
