Clear California Title
2013 Lexus GX 460 (base trim, so no airbag delete to worry about) in excellent condition. Zero rust. Never wheeled hard; no CEL or TPMS lights. Everything works. Very good maintenance history including recent (@129k miles) valley plate seal repair (the pricey -- and inevitable -- repair everyone who owns a GX 460 will have to deal with once). BFG KO2s with less than 9k miles on them. New shocks and water pump. This truck has been excellent and never let me down. It’s been very well maintained and I wouldn’t hesitate to drive it across the country tomorrow. This is an excellent family camping/ski trip vehicle.
BFG KO2 265/60R18 tires (installed at 124,365 miles in 12/2021)
Recent maintenance:
3/2024 (132K miles): Oil change (full synthetic)
11/2023 (129K miles): Valley plate seal repair (by certified Toyota/Lexus tech)
10/2023 (129K miles): Front and rear shocks replaced (KYB)
10/2023 (129K Miles): Water pump replaced
6/2023 (127K miles): Oil change (full synthetic), Transmission fluid (drain and fill)
12/2022 (124K miles): 120K mile service: spark plugs, Cabin & Air Filters; Replace Front & Main Differential Fluids; Replace Transfer Case Fluid; Brake Fluid Flush; Front & Rear Brakes Job; Wipers
Passed CA smog check in November 2023
Issues:
Small tear on driver’s seat
Small ding on passenger rear panel; small bumper crack near driver reverse light (you can only see it if you’re REALLY looking for it). CarFax indicates 2x “very minor” bumps/hits before my ownership (rear and front bumpers) - airbags never deployed. Some pinstriping on passenger rear panel.
Recently (very) occasional squeak from front driver control arm (I’m guessing bushings)
Stupid stuff that seems to afflict the 1st gen 460s: sun visors sag slightly
Extras:
Rear cargo area power outlets (USB-C and 12V) wired to 3rd row power seats power source
Rear ladder by Nash FabCo (yes, a “widdle wadder”)
All-weather mats and all-weather cargo tray
Roof cross bars (Amazon, not OEM)
Please contact me to see and test-drive the truck in Sacramento, CA. I’m not interested in making a big production out of this (don’t make this complicated by asking me to do anything beyond showing the truck in person and taking your payment; I’m happy to let you have it checked out by a mechanic if you’re a serious buyer with a serious offer). Please don’t waste your time (or mine) with dumb questions or dumber offers (it’s a good price, let’s all be adults here).
