Yesterday I started tracking down my rust demons in my 93. I've got rust under the license plate(the width of the plate, with one 1/2"hole through) and behind the rear tires on the bottom edge of the body going up 4" on the lip of the wheel well. I ground away all that I could get at, then used a rust eater to eat what I couldn't. I then put think coat of that primer/rust inhibitor paint on that turns the rust into a paintable surface. I'm building a new rear bumper and am running the rig without fenders. The new bumper should hide the damaged areas, but how should I go about finishing off the new holes in the body, Bondo, lead..... I hate body work.
