Does anyone have pics of the rear quarters these guys make for the sixty? My patch job with bodywork is coming through again after 4 years and I would like a better treatment this time.
If you look at the CCOT website, the part that is needed is no longer made. I wish it was, because I need the same part replaced on my 60, I could care less what it cost I just need it!
Bought some patch panels from 4wheel auto out of Canada. Great to work with cost me $105.00 apiece. Had them delivered to Penna. Had to pay import tax of about $40 bucks. I think their 18ga. Arrived in a few days.
It rode perfectly on the trailer from Wisconsin to Nevada...
Here is a newer pic and a much better shackle angle. I replaced the main spring on the waggy rear springs that I am using with a custom shorter one. It shoudl still flex like mad, and still only has a 2.5" lift
How do you guyz weld the panels in one bead and not warp the metal?
Both Mace's and Lowtides rigs look pretty straight with hardly no warpage.
BTW, nice job on the bob Mace...I fickin love the way that looks.
I tack welded a small section of 1/8 behind the sheet metal I was welding to. So when I welded the sheet metal to the 1/8 plate there was a small strip of 1/8 behind it.
