Bought some patch panels from 4wheel auto out of Canada. Great to work with cost me $105.00 apiece. Had them delivered to Penna. Had to pay import tax of about $40 bucks. I think their 18ga. Arrived in a few days.

Hey mace.... whats the deal with your shackles in that pic.... how come they are right flat???

Leaves were too long for the shackle hanger. And there are two shackles in that pic.

It rode perfectly on the trailer from Wisconsin to Nevada...

;)

Here is a newer pic and a much better shackle angle. I replaced the main spring on the waggy rear springs that I am using with a custom shorter one. It shoudl still flex like mad, and still only has a 2.5" lift ;)

How do you guyz weld the panels in one bead and not warp the metal?
Both Mace's and Lowtides rigs look pretty straight with hardly no warpage.
BTW, nice job on the bob Mace...I fickin love the way that looks.

So do I. But I cannot take credit for the work. Trailcarnage did the bob job on Bob

I tack welded a small section of 1/8 behind the sheet metal I was welding to. So when I welded the sheet metal to the 1/8 plate there was a small strip of 1/8 behind it.
