ok, today i was doing some odds n ends work on the cruiser and ive decided its time to do some work on the gutters. i plan on wire wheeling the rust out and using some converter and painting them. my question is what is that s*** in the gutters that is like caulk? can i scrape it out and replace with caulk? theres rust under some of it.

anyways heres some pics i took. pretty much the only rust on my truck except a little on my springs.

the last pic is just because noone on here has seen my cruiser. ive got plans for her

most likely seam sealer. yep you can replace it but it is best to completely clean it out of the gutter ( you can get it in a caulking gun style or a brush able goo), and reseal the site with primer and paint. You may want to just have a look at the POR15 site. I have used this stuff and can't even begin to say how great this product is.
