Rustoleum Universal Hammered Spray VS Rustoleum Regular Hammered Spray

Going to be coating a few misc. metal objects (trailer hitch, homemade front bumper) and see that Rustoleum has 2 types of hammered spray (yeah, I like them especially after it cures for a few days!) and was wondering if the universal with the primer in it or the regular is better on metal that is subject to conditions that being on the road will present... In other words, which one is tougher for plain old metal objects that get the snot beat out of them!

Toughest will be rolled on from the larger cans. The spray stuff is thin/fragile in comparison in my experience.
