semi-disposable...??

Like the cheapo ones from amazon that never really work..??

I was thinking more along the lines of the ones that you can find in just about any convenience or drug store, but they're probably the same thing. Something that is relatively cheap and easily replaced on a road trip, compared to a RCA to lightning cable.

The Lightning cable is so sensitive, I think we had purchase 20, maybe 25 aftermarket ones and at last we found some that work, but just for a few weeks, two, maybe three months at most, and this is just to charge them, to download pictures pretty much the only one that work is the original apple (As will all know they are millions of imitations on amazon) maybe the "Plan obsolescence" the cable interface too, the old ones were very much problem free..

I do have a inquiry, specially for Robert..

I do like (we do like Public radio) how can you tune to radio stations with the Ipad (Not commercial stations, NEVER)

Is it a good idea to Also and/or purchase a small bluetooth/DVD headunit so we can license to radio and watch a hard copy DVD from time to time..

There are apps for radio - obviously it uses data
Doh, you see this is why I ask the experts...

My Yeasu HAM receives AM/FM so I'm covered.
I'm not ready to truck driver, to many thinking to distract me in the dash already
You certainly could add a sep radio but where's your commitment to iPad? :)

Well maybe I'm just not ready for the new frontier, then you can have the radio like any other "Aux" on a satellite configuration..

If I was to look for a "Radio"... Sony...? for some reason I have seeing a few Sony's used for this kind of applications..

You'll notice that in my list of gear there is a JL Audio Bluetooth receiver... The Clarion EQ has two audio inputs so iPad in one and this BT receiver in the other. That BT receiver is for contingencies like this.

A single DIN unit can be hidden to satiate your radio needs.

I think I'm most have the heart of a gold digger because this one is the one I really like...

Any brand/model recommendations... or do you think the CB is more useful (But I have the impression they are not cheap

Ps: I have eaten plenty of crickets and worms on my day, if the end of the world ever comes please take me first, I'm to tired to play the "Walking death"

Sorry Roberto, I wussy out of the ipad project, it was getting much to expensive, complex, complicated and way out of my league..

But I do have a question..

I'm going to replace a AVIC Z2 with a AVIC-X930BT that I inhered from a good friend, so I took the head unit out thinking, No big deal I just connect the same wires, 10 minutes I'm done..

Ten minutes, it took me ten minutes to straight out the Brades, in the wires..

I'm going to run a five channel Infinity reference so how do i start..?? I got the RCA connector from amazon (order it yesterday, man amazing, no wonder we never go shopping anymore), fancy power cables, wire covers coming tomorrow or next day)

Where do I find a pictures, diagram, specially in color (Or naming the colors) so I can pair them up, I know nothing and I need some help

Check my write up on TLCFAQ for the colors and tips on connecting the headunit.

The ipad is no more difficult to install than any other head unit. your X930 has an aux in so you can at least run the iSimple out put to it.
Oh Robert first thing I did, I'm just kind of clueless, I will do the iPad someday buy
Difficult To Justified The expense When I already Have the 930

I will reread your posting, for sure you
