I have a problem similar to the one described in this thread.
The difference is, my car also "stumbles and rumbles" when going at low speeds in the first gear. Also, the noises and rumbling stops once the engine heats up to its normal operating temperature. I checked the oil levels and it was a little low, so I added some synthetic. The transmission fluid level is too high, so I think I'm going to perform a passive flush this weekend and fill it up to the proper level, if I have time. The rumble feels like it's coming from beneath the central console/back of the engine.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any thoughts?
