Disclaimer - im a newb with communications, albeit ive been doing much research to get as far as ive gotten so far with it.
I have had a rugged radio RM-60 that is all set up, works great. My other friends also use this radio so it has been working no issues. Recently im getting ready to go out with another crew and I needed to dial in a frequency that is not part of the build in Memory mode pre-set channels.
I bought a cable and downloaded some software for a TYT 9000-D radio which I learned is all the same internals. I was able to program the specific 151mhz channel required for this upcoming trip. Fingers crossed with covid it will still happen.
my question is..... can i somehow program the 400.000mhz and the 100.000mhz channels with this radio that is VHF/UHF ?? I want to be able to listen to a much wider range of what I currently have.
theres alot of different settings i dont know what they do or if i should change em, when i programmed i just added the 1 channel...
