I have seen a few of them being used and reviewed. I cant remember if it was here or Pirate.... The reviews have been great!

Dan is one of the best guys in the industry! If I can give him business I usually do. I have been watching his housings as well.

In your sig it looks like you are running 37/38" tires? Id stick with the LC 9.5 third. You shouldn't need the extra strength of the d60, and you would loose a lot of ground clearance.

It's a nice housing but the diff/bracing is VERY wide. It can make it very hard to run leafs. I'm having to run a 32+ center to center spring pin width.

Thanks guys, planning to use this as a centered rear on a 40 series extended cab. I def know Dan is a great dude to deal with. The real thing I'm worried about is shafts and the neck down with 42's.

Yup, that's what I don't like about the diamond either (if I had to pick something). That's why i've looked into crossed up's housings....But there is very little feed back on them.

Oh i didn't know you were planning on 42's.

Are mini truck axles stronger than LC axles? Ive heard some debate on this in the past.... If you centering up, what shafts do you plan to use? Ive seen stock mini axles take a huge beating and on 42's and not break, plus there are cheap chromoly options. But I agree 42's are pushing toyota shafts, especially if you have any kind of HP.

Sorry I guess my info is lacking on this. The 45 extended cab is being pushed by sbc with 418hp/404tq to a stak tcase. I am going to run 14ff hubs with drive flanges so I can just get splined shafts. Knowing full well that the LC 3rd has smaller dia shafts on diff side..... Wondered if it was a pipe dream or should I just pass it up and go to shaved 14ff?

With that kind of HP and torque go shaved 14B.

Been kinda shying away from that since it was hard enough sell building the axles, LOL. I would change my screen name to "shesmad" but I think that ones taken.
