Post up if you would like to see an RTI ramp as a permanent fixture at Field N Forest for all to use.

I'll build it if we can get permission and materials. I'd really like to see a concrete pad to mount it to permanently. this would also keep the ground around it neater and not torn up.

I'll forward to NEA.

From the NEA forum:

The first thing we would have to do is find from Gretchen if she's ok with it. It is also important to remember we are not the only user group that frequents F&F.
Personally I don't think it's a good idea to leave it there set up with out anyone to supervise it's use.
Why play on a ramp when you have the rocks?

what is their reasoning? Not to be disgruntled, but it really isnt NEA's decision. It's Field N Forest that we need approval from.

F&F is a campground, not a wheeling park. Wheeling there is gained through the NEA.
Realisticly, RTI isn't good for much. It's just a number, and trails don't really care what you can ramp.

It would be great for stock and mildly built rigs to inspire new owners as well as something to do as a group after wheeling.

I'd build a trailer ramp, but I dont want to tow it.

I dont see where it is any different than a jungle gym.

Rant over.

Maybe offer building the trailer ramp for the NEA and then they can use it where ever they want, meetings, lend out to clubs for events, etc. Just a matter of where they keep it and who tows it.
