Normally if your wheel itself is hot, it can be a sign of something dragging. If your rear wheels are hotter than your front, that can be a telltale sign you've got an issue... Brake rotors will be hot, though I haven't ever put a heat gun on normal rotor temps. Sorry I'm not much help, but my gut is telling me it may be normal....keep us posted my gut may be wrong
