Dave and Dave from VA are camping out at URE again this evening. Dave w/ the 40 broke his rear driveshaft slip yoke this afternoon, if anyone in the area (Triad or Triangle) has a rear driveshaft or parts let me know so we can help him out.

He is fine with driving home w/ FWD but obviously this would make the drive quite a bit more relaxing.

BTW his 40 has an LT1 w/ auto transmission and I don't know whether it has a Toyota shaft (it does have a 40 rear axle, unsure if the pinion flange is stock or redrilled) or what the length is.

I haven't heard back from them. Dave (60) was having some phone coverage and/or battery issues last night. Jon, Greg - thanks and if I hear from them I'll let you know. Raymond, Jerry thanks for the check-ins last night.

Thanks for the assistance everyone.
We did try to get back on FWD but the his 40 overheated, again, in Asheboro.
Ended up getting it towed to VA. Believe it or not , his Ins Co payed for the tow. Must have cost a lot.

Thanks Again.
Dave
