RTH code P0306

Driving to my son’s wedding venue and my dashboard lights up and I feel a weird vibration. I check the codes and it’s P0306 which is #6 cylinder misfire. With the wedding I can’t do much about this until tonight but I’m 20 miles from home. Engine runs but I’m in limp mode. I think I’m ok drive 20 miles in limp mode but not totally sure. Would like to avoid a tow truck if possible. Thoughts?

hey, what the heck, MUD left me hanging... you guys trying to tell me something?

Drove it home but had to keep under 40 mph. The issue was a cracked spark plug. All better now. Started a separate thread on why do spark plugs crack?

Could the location and ease of access to #6 be a factor when removing the appropriate socket? Just a WAG.

Maybe but #6 is not too bad to get to.
