Merging on the highway today, in D as usual, the truck will not up shift past 3rd gear. No weird noises or smells, fluid level and condition seems fine. Shifts fine between Park and reverse, and Drive. Drives perfectly normal, but will not go into 4th and 5th gears.
With the shifter in '4' or 'D' it does not hold 3rd gear, RPMs return to almost idle at highway speeds. Pressing on the gas results in revs building until 3rd gear engages. Thoughts? Anyone seen this before with the 5 speeds? TIA.
