Hi all,

New member here. Just picked up an 05 with 107k on the clock and full maintenance records. Overall in really nice shape. Just a few minor blemishes. A have a good list of mods and To-do's but in order to keep the noise from the back seat to a minimum I have GOT to get this rear seat entertainment system working.

There appears to be a DVD stuck in the rear seat DVD player. Eject does nothing. Can't even hear a motor trying to eject. Also there is no backlighting and the screen does nothing so I was thinking that power might not be getting to the unit. The manual says there are 2 fuses above the passenger kick panel. B+ 7.5 amp and Acc 1 amp. But when I pull the fuse box panel cover I don't see these marked. Am I missing something? Is there another fuse panel down there that I am missing? I didn't find much by searching.

Thank you

Update: Turns out that the fuses that the manual describes are in-line fuses just below the glove box and above the passenger kick panel. I mistakenly took this to mean fuses in the fuse panel in this location. After looking around a bit more I noticed 2 empty in-line fuse holders. 2 new fuses and the rear entertainment system is on-line. Noise from the back seat on long hauls should be minimized now.

Thanks for posting the DVD fuse(s) location. Wifey's LC rear DVD randonly switches on/off while the car is not running...causing battery drain.
