Glad I saw you guys at the BBQ place

I had a great time! Fell in love with Cruisers! If you didn't hear about us, I'll tell you the story. We were coming back from Big Bend Nat. Park doing some wheelin down there With the white and red Durango and the 86' mini truck with no doors. We stoped at a BBQ place and saw "wild at heart" and friends with some Cruiser shirts on, got to talkin and ended up grabing a motel and spending the night so we could come the next day. Had a great time met some awesome people and we are back to school now. Thanks for the great time, oooo and by the way, whoever owns the FJ45 on the 80 frame. If they are ever interested in selling let me know:cheers:

P.S. some of you wanted to know what the Durango could do. This was in big bend before we got to the round up.

What BBQ place did you run into the cruiser guys? I am "Wild at Heart" and could not make the trip; however, I wonder it you were talking about Matthew Armstrong & Stan Baker. They would have been pulling 2 Red FJ40 Proffitts Cruisers rigs. Just curious. Glad you made the LSLC Roundup.

Gary's FJ45 is good for an umbrella....

Step up for Metaltech

It seems that Metaltech has had some really bad luck coming and now going home from Round Up. Their truck was broken into in Reno and a large sum of cash was taken as well as other personal belongings. Mark and LT REALLY came through for us at LSLC by being a primary sponsor of our event this year and we want to help them get back their hard earned $. We are taking PAYPAL donations to LSLC@cableone.net for anything you can spare to help these guys out. We will write one check on Friday the 30th so see what you guys can muster. Personally I am in for $100. Baker tire said they would match that so we are off to a good start. Any questions, PM me.
Gary

anyone wishing to help out paypal note MetalTech in the subject matter........

Sorry about the confusion "wild at Heart" I did get you mixed up with the two red cruisers. Hope everyone had a great time and thanks for letting the Durango in the gates.;)

hey man, i hope to see you at roundup next year... didnt you say you had a fj-45?

LT and I made it home yesterday about 4PM. We pulled the 80 off and dropped the trailer, tossed most of the gear in the shop and each headed to home.

This AM I pushed the 10lbs of mail out of the way and logged on to check in that we made it home in one piece. Holy smoke guys! Wow is all I can say, and a bit embarrassed at the same time. Toyota owners are one powerful crew and I am constantly reminded why. On Sunday night we rolled into Albuquerque NM around 8 PM. We unhitched the trailer and put out gear in the hotel room before gabbing some dinner. Either during that point or why we were gone (most likely why we were gone) someone snagged my writing note book. The book had notes I had taken on the trip, people to call back, requests, new contacts from the event, product/promotional ideas etc. Unfortunately it also had my business check book, a personal credit report and hidden in the back $1800 in cash. Don’t normally carry cash like that but just in case we run into some small town where the tow truck driver charges us $$$$ for a tow, 4 bald tires, and he is the local sheriff as well.

You guys raised $1800 from the cruiser community for us in three days! I still don’t know what to say, thank you.

Mark

Awsome Photos! That was a great idea to have every one line up for that photo on TLCA. to bad the 4runner couldn't get in on the photo although it was nice of him to let every one stand on his tailgate.

Bummer for the 4-runner, although I do like all the different Land Cruisers that are in the photo

3 FJ-40s, 2 FZJ-80s, 1 FJ-80, 2 FJ-60s, 1 FJ-62, 1 BJ-70 and 1 FJ Cruiser

just a different angle so you can see the 70, FJ Cruiser and the 80 better.
