Rough/erratic idle with engine dieing at times

The 4.7L calls for iridium plugs and I would not use platinum as a replacement. I also would not put Bosch plugs in my LX instead of the Denso plugs Paddo specified. The Denso plugs have always done well for me. I have not had as good an experience with Bosch plugs in a previous Toyota vehicle. NGK is a viable alternative. Based on my experience with Bosch parts, I avoid them in general; especially spark plugs.

I ended up changing the bosch plugs for the oem Denson iridium ones. Didn't seem to make a difference, but thought it was worth a try.
