Thank You!

Can I buy all (winch and cables) from you and send UPS to pick up whenever you ready!
You have PayPal??

Adolf, check out this link in the tech articles. Woody has a lot of great info on these old Belleview/5687 winches.

Also, if Adolf doesn't end up with it, I would be interested in taking just the winch motor if it's still running. I've got an old 5687 that looks just like that without a motor.

Back on topic:
Damn, bull, that's a beautiful rig! Are you planning to put a stock front bumper back on?

Absolute dream find. If you had passed on that you never would have forgiven yourself.

A little off topic, but not really. There is a 1971 FJ40 for sale in NV with supposedly 25K orig. miles. Estate sale. original, stock, excellent, etc. etc. I talked to two of the buddies of the guy that passed and they are helping the family sell it. I am not affiliated just to be clear. They did send me some pics and it does appear to be very original and unmolested, but they want $8,600.00 firm. Paul 702-398-3972

Wow!!! What a gem!

Nice score, Rodney!

You just hafta bring her to the 45 run. I'm looking forward to seeing Kelly and yourself there.

Mas tequilia, por favor!:grinpimp::flipoff2:

Congrats, Rodney!

Awesome find. Could you post a more detailed pic of the winch and the controls. Found the same, but no parts available anymore. Need some more Info on the controls and cables!

i'm glad that you took the pics of the bellview winch controls. i have the same with a set of controls.

Drive the piss out of it to the FJ45 run

Sounds like a plan. Good looking rig Rodney, all the history on it is really interesting.

I'm not sure if I'm going to make the 45 run this year, I might be in India for work... :frown:

Bull, I'd like to be able to have a good look at that truck when I'm passing through. My '67 FJ45LV was pretty molested before I got it so looking at an unmolested truck would be helpful. Probably won't happen till summer 2008 though.

no being serious. Going to update it so it is dependable. I already have a nice running desmogged 2F and a H55 ready to go.

very cool. that is what i am doing. i still have to get the H55. any ideas where to get a good one? i heard that this tranny makes a big difference in the driveability of the old cruisers? the other issue will be "nice running desmogged" part of the equation.
