how does the 45 go on propane? what sort of pot(kit) is needed?

It goes just fine, and would run upside down if it didn't dry out from lack of lubrication. It's the basic Ipco mixer, not sure what model #'s, it was like that when I bought it.
A recent episode of 'extreme 4x4' had them install a dual fuel system on their scrambler project. And on bc4x4 recently, someone was selling a propane system.

In my opinion a good 2F with some sort of injection is just as good as any diesel for over all torque , bottom end. and has an extra 10 HP
I agree with Dan, plus, when you burp the throttle on a gasser it goes. You burp the throttle on a diesel, you get a couple of hundred rpm's.
