Ok so I have a Mid trim that came with the crossbars which I think are just rebranding Yakima Timberline FX bars. A family member gave me a Thule tepui roof tent. I am trying to figure out if I can mount it on those stock crossbars or if I need to upgrade to a roof rack. Anyone have any suggestions or advice? Can I use the stock crossbars or will they break? I was going to wait a big on a full roof rack as they are pretty pricey so ideally I would like to wait before getting one if I can. Included a pic of the cruiser.
