roof top tent - roof support question :)

I'm in a bit of a bind. I have a CVT tent that will ultimately end up on a m416 trailer.

Temporarily I'm going to put it on top of my 2007 LC. I'm going to be purchasing a gamiviti rack, but it won't be here in time for an excursion the week of Thanksgiving.

So I'm trying to find out what I need to do to get an affordable roof rack in place to hook up the CVT too.

Will the LC's rails work if I use yakima/thule cross supports to hold up my CVT?

I have a RTT, it's a shell type, works fine on the thule steel bars

Mine is on factory rack and rails, spent around 5 nights in it with no issues.

Factory rack is strong enough. Just make sure you mount it to the parallel bars and not the cross bars. The parallel bars plenty strong.

Correct, I should have made that clear! My CVT is mounted to the parallel bars not the cross bars.
