Howdy.
Looking at Roof Top Tents and two brands have my attention. Quick Pitch and IKamper. I like the streamlined look and size of the IKamper, but I like that the Quick Pitch is aluminum, can be used as a roof rack as well, and has a pretty good awning option. Anyone have any experience with either?
Thanks

If this is not a 100-specific question, you may get better response in the camping / outdoor gear section?

You way want to look into the Terrapod RTTx, there's a thread on it in the Camping Forum.

I've not owned several, but have played around with most types of roof tents over the years. If I were going to spend money on one again, I'd opt for a design like the Quick Pitch. Those rear-opening hard shell tents are so quick and so easy to set up. Pop two latches, give a little push, and you're done. Most of the other styles of tents require more fiddling and fussing to set up.

I'm not saying that the other designs aren't good, but the wedge-style are the absolute best in my opinion. If you're looking for something with that streamlined appearance, you've got plenty of options: James Baroud and Autohome Columbus spring to mind. You've got other choices with aluminum tents too: the Alu-Cab Expedition and Eez-Awn Stealth. I'm not sure if you can get GFC in Honduras, but as I recall you get to Texas every so often. Their RTT and Superlite RTT are pretty great options as well.
