The roof skin for my fj60 is all rotted out. I looked into buying another but they are a bit pricey. I'm thinking about doing some repairs myself for the time being, but would like to know how the OEM roof skin was installed so I can do a better job with my repairs. I imagine it was just spot welded on, but then how was it sealed to prevent leaks, and what could I use for the sealant? Anybody have any experience with roof skins?
