Hi there,

I am considering designing a roof rack for The 250/550. Does anybody have any ideas on how to get ahold of some 3D models/measurements of the roof and mounting area?

I know Prinsu was supplied with 3D info directly from Lexus so in theory, this stuff exists somewhere.

SEMA is doing measurement for members. They just did one for new Tacoma.

There are a lot of companies that can do 3D scans. The equipment are getting affordable and some companies got to have it to stay competitive.

As the one given from Lexus/Toyota, probably going to have a lot of red tape. I think they would only give it to AAP partners.

Yeah, I used a local company when I did some design for the Bronco back in '21 worked quite well. If I had access to one of the rigs that would be what I would be looking into.

I'll check with Sema though they haven't been super helpful in the past. Do you have much exp. with them?
