Hey Everyone,

I finally have the bucket of bolts running good, now I want to get a roof rack to give it that rugged, usefull look.

Any info regarding roof racks for a '60 would be appreciated.

I looked on-line for sites but had no luck.

Thanks, DAN

SOR, MAF, Hannibal, Thule.....lots of outfitters. if you only do it for the looks, don't do it at all.

A couple of buddies have picked these up for their 80s. Nice racks and a bit less expensive than many others. 4 Wheel Parts (not my favorite) carrys them. They both went with a different size than what was spec'd and had issues with getting the right mounts, but it all worked out.

I bought: thule 300 towers at fleamarket ( still in box w/locking knobs)$2.00 8 pack of locks and new crossbars(hooked up) $50.00
surco t-400 adapter (sumit) $35.00
surco basket (off trade-in at dealership I worked at) $FREE$
off road unlimited high lift jack brackets $35.00
misc. hardware and materials for jack bracket and light brackets$25.00 NOT A BAD DEAL

I purchased a KargoMaster. It's all aluminum(lightweight), well made, powdercoated, attached via Thule bars and and lockable gutter mounts. I run a painting/restoration business out of my 60 and use it often. Use google if you are interested.
