Roof Rack Questions

Hi everybody, I am looking for some advice on roof racks for the GX470. There are a few I have found on Facebook for a pretty good price, a rhino rack pioneer(60"x49"), and an ARB Touring Rack(70"x49"). I am asking what is the longest rack I could put on a 2006 GX470, it seems that 49" is the widest. Hope this is enough info for some insight.

Are you asking what’s the longer of the two racks or the longest rack you can put on overall?

If you want a platform rack or if you want a full rack there are a few different options to chose from. I currently have the Sherpa rack and absolutely love it! I have heard plenty of other good things about many of the other racks so i guess it just comes down to what you want to use it for and what serves your needs.

I am wondering what is the longest I can fit. How long is your Sherpa rack? I know which one is bigger of the two I listed, lol.

My Sherpa is 86.5” according to the website. I don’t think I’ve ever actually measured it installed on my truck. It works well for my needs of carrying a RTT

Different style, but my full-length Prinsu rack measures 91” long, 47” wide.
Basically it footprints the entire roof.
