I have had trouble finding info on this when searching the forum. I have a '73 40 that came from factory without a roll bar. It is all original with the long rear jump seats. Is there a factory roll bar out of another year that will fit my configuration without doing any major cutting/modifying? Thanks for your help...

Well, Specter Off Road used to sell some brackets that spaced the seat mounts out from the side rails far enough to use a factory roll bar. You'll still have to drill some more holes in the tub to mount the bottom part of the seat bracket.
Personally, I think they push the seats out too far to be useful, but they will allow everything to fit. When you fold the seat portion down on both seats, the passenger's knees knock:doh:

You might want to make your own......but they're REALLY complicated!

Doesn't this just make you want to search e-bay or Craigs List for an old Con-Ferr rear bench seat? Better yet, I'm thinking somebody posted something about trying to stir up interest in building a batch?????
