Can anybody tell me what size bolts I need to bolt the roll bar in my 40?

10x1.25. 
10 X 1.25 should do it! 
If the roll bar has mounting holes, use that as a guide for diameter.
I would use SAE class 8 fine thread bolts, because if you happen to need it you do not want any fastener failures.
