Anyone else planning on going this year.

It is on the weekend of the 19 - 20 th.

Looks like that saturday would be about the best day to go. Think we are going, as we have been asked to go from the people putting it on.

I was planning on going to URE that weekend, but not now. I didn't know they were closing the park for this. Looks like more partying, and less wheeling.

As far as I know the park will be untouched.... all the action will be at the uwharrie stables.... It should be a fun time most of the events at the stables are.

So you can still hit the trails, just might have to fight heavy traffic, huh?

I know that part of the money you give them gets you a day pass. But as far as i remember there is nothing on the trails. Take that back, remember they have some night runs planed.

Last year there was actually less if not regular traffic on the trails. My wife drove a lot that day and we spent a lot of time on a couple of the small obstacles and only one group came the opposite direction and nobody behind us. I would not let this event be a determining factor in your decision to come. Condidering last years performance of the event and this years economy there will probably be less people there than last year.

It is actually being run by someone completely independent of Rick hendrick this year. Not too sure who it is right now.

I disagree,

We waited for about 2 hrs to get up the ledges on daniel. I doubt I go this year, I wasn't impressed w/ anything but the ONSC booth.
