Chassis arrived today, started building tonite...

basics:

Axial AX10, cannibalized...
Novak 55
Tekin FX-R
Castle BEC
Vanquish knuckles
ST Racing hubs
PitBull Rock Carvers (Losi Boss Claws pending)
Steel tranny outdrives (enroute)
MIP Shafts (enroute)
1/4" Delrin tube lowers, fully sleeved with 3mm rod
1/4" Delrin tube uppers (pending)
ST Racing front 4-link plate
HiTec HS-5645MG servo
3-cell Lipo

With a little luck, should get some play time tomorrow....very nice chassis, but it DOES require custom link work

ooo i like the geometry on that chassis! looks light too.

another pic showing the links and chassis setup....uppers mount outside the chassis, better triangulation and clearance for the driveshafts.

last pic shows using a 3mm tap to make the upper delrin links...those will not be sleeved to help save weight.

last will be a tray on the upper rear links for the electronics...already set up the Tekin FXR and test ran a little...should have 'action' pics by noon

just a shade under 5#, ready and tested...adding skins (plastic folder material) will push it a shade over 5#...it's already climbed a couple lines that the Losi backflips on...

testing...yes, it's impressive...this line has never been made by my Losi, even with front dig...the Fastback walked right up...

still need side-skins...going with clear I believe...

and stickers...

Nice! thats the first chassis Ive seen that lays the shocks down at that angle. I like it! now I need to find a similar one, cause I cant own the same chassis as you. bastid....

with stickers....really need front dig on this...may have to mess with the DNA setup I have and get it actually working....uugh

Cough* rear steer *cough

The Fastback is my favorite chasis right now. Juan makes some nice stuff there.
The cranked rear links are nuts on that platform giving incredible clearance.
