Gonna be leaving the casa on a primo road trip on the 3rd of August touring the midwest to and from Indianapolis. Tentative plans are to go thru Albuquerque and OK city on the way to KS city [staying with Degnol]before heading to the caves in southern Indiana. Hoosier Cruisers is hosting a lunch for us on Saturday the 8th.

After seeing my son perform that night at Lucas Oil stadium, we'll be on our way to Lancaster OH to see Jim C, then off to Michigan to visit with Vic, back down to IA to see Matt T, then up to MN to see Poser. Then we'll start west, with a stop in to see Greg Mumm in SD and 3 puppies in MT.

Based on that route, y'all got any suggestions for sights to see that are reasonably close to the interstates.:)

The El Rancho Hotel in Gallup is an awesome place to stay if it falls into your travel plans. Rooms and food are more than reasonable as well...

McLean Texas has the "Devils Rope" museum just off the I40 on old route 66. Worth a stop IMO. (Just west of Shamrock Tx)
