Road trip Hoh river

Hey guys I am heading over South of Forks and staying near the Hoh river for 10 days next week. This is a fishing/whatever trip with my family and dog. My question is...Is there any spots I should not miss? Can you drive on the beach anywhere around there? I am driving my lifted/locked 80 so out of the way spots are what I am looking for. Thanks

Maybe I should rethink this trip must not be much to see over in that country.

Well i know this is not in the woods but since you are going through Sequim anyways and if you have kids in the family. Absolutely do not miss going through the Olympic game farm. took my kids trough there last year and they loved it.

Way late seeing this, but I fish over there & had a gf out ther for awhile - prob the biggest "don't miss" is Crecent lake (multiple viewpoints, on route to Forks) - and Rialto Beach (NW tip of peninsula).

If you go again there's a few other little spots (mostly hippie showers), but cool.
