Just got back home. Camped in Tim's spot at the end of Sandstone. Saturday, hiked about a mile up a left fork off sandstone and returned, then halfway up the main sandstone wash until we met Andy. Linda hiked partway up a third fork that was off to the right of the main wash. We set food and water out in the evening, but the birds ate the food as we did so. The water we set out overnight was untouched.

Today we continued up fish creek across Hapaha flats, and turned around shortly before the one way area approaching Pinyon dropoff. On our return we covered the mud palisades area. Going back down fish creek (east), we opted to search a 2 mile bypass on the north side.

We must have talked to over three dozen groups throughout all of fish creek to spread the word. We did not go up towards Diablo but spread the word to those who were on there way there today around noon. We ran into a couple that will be making two more trips to the fish creek area in the following week.

Thanks for all the help and support. You guys are awesome. We are going to wait until there is another sighting before heading back out.

Also, my FJC and randys GX are down pending some repairs.

If you here anything, I may be able to go this Friday to search, I guess we can discuss at the meeting tonight.

That is frigin awesome Tim!! So happy for y’all that Ripley is safe and home!
I was out there this weekend driving and hiking the wind caves area with a bunch of oceanographer types and asked them to keep an eye out for Ripley. A couple of them actually rented a plane on Thursday and flew all over the area and I asked him to look for Ripley too, but nothing was seen.

He was found at fish Creek campground
