Interesting. Wonder why someone would go to the effort to bring it up to the US, just to scrap it.

Is this a junkyard that will part-out vehicles, or must it be bought "complete?"

They primarily sell parts off of vehicles but it's not a pick-yourself type yard. It still has the Guatemala plates on it. He said it's being sold complete, but I bet he would have sold the Headache rack off of it...

It's located at Otay Auto Wrecking - 619-661-6811 - Address is - 967 Heritage Rd.

The guy who owns the yard also has a buisness in GUA. Coffee I think. He purchased it sight unseen had a guy drive it up. He got screwed...he was then talking about rebuilding it...but he and I climbed under it one day and its totally Frankensteined.....enough welding to build a bridge...He is now in GUA and his son is running the yard...Son said he bought another one down there and its not worth rebuilding this one

Are any of the hardtop pieces in good shape ?

Im sure there trying to sell it whole... Ill run down there sometime this week and take another l@@k...its been a couple years

In2cruisers I,m looking for 3 point seat belt brackets please check and see if they are still there and if they are for sale thanks

Doesn't appear to have three point seat belts. Doubt a 71 would have them in any market. I've seen where Australia and Europe had a fixed nut in the B pillar. Canadian 45 pickups got a three point seat bracket in the upper rear corners. Not sure if any other market got those. I ran a wanted ad here in the 45 section and someone in Canada sold me a set.

3 point seat belts..
What would you do once you take the top off
