We just got the horrible news that Bob Garrett had a heart attack and passed away while working out at the gym. He was just at the meeting last night and was smiling and happy as always. So much more we could of shared with him if we only knew.

He was a great guy and he did so much for the Cruiser community over the years. It was hell trying to keep up with him on the trail. It will not be the same out there without him. My prayers are with his wife and family.

What? Oh man I am so sorry to hear this. :(

I had the chance to meet and wheel with him recently and he was really a great guy! My prayers as well to his wife and family.

Oh man this is horrible. He and I finally met and had a long conversation. We had followed each other's builds for such a long time.

Rest in Peace Bob

No not Bob :(

He was a great guy and fun to run the trails with.

It was an honor to have met and wheeled with you, R.I.P.

Recently met Bob, he told me his super charger sticker gave him extra 20hp ;)
Enjoy your next journey Bob.

Enjoy your trip.

I can't add anything other than what's been said above. Happy wheeling! He made the effort to join our little group on a run while he was out here and we are all more enriched for having met him.

I gotta say, Bob's passing has made me think. I need to do a better job at meeting people and getting to know them because soon they will be gone and I'll be mad at myself for not putting forth the effort.

Really sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I had the pleasure of meeting Bob a couple months ago when we wheel'd Santiago Peak. I really enjoyed talking with him and sharing stories about the adventures had in the 80's. He was a great guy! My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Bob Garrett's services will be at 2:00 on October 25

My condolences to Bob's family.

I met Bob on our recent SoCal run where I shared a story about a friend of mine in TX who longs to be in Colorado. Turns out he and Bob lived only a few miles apart & Bob said he shared that same love of being in CO - we laughed about the coincidence and small world.....

I wish I'd met him sooner and had the opportunity to share more stories.

That is terrible. :( My condolences to Bob's family also. I am so sad to hear that, but so grateful that I had the opportunity to meet and wheel with him on our run recently. He was indeed a great guy. Godspeed Bob.

Though it is the kind of news you never want to hear, I do appreciate you letting us know of Bob's passing Texican.
