So here's the deal with my rebuild.
Turns out my block was never rebored. The pistons are marked 50 indicating one size over standard. So I picked up one piston (#6) and a new ring kit, based upon the above info. So when I tried to insert #6 it won't even come close to dropping in. Then I checked the other pistons against #6, the inner cylinder walls etc....and lo & behold I now have a ring kit and piston head I have no use for.
I just re-ordered the correct piston & ring kit.
So if anyone wants them PM me. Just cover the postage & they're yours.
