What? I told you I'd buy it.:flipoff2:

That Smitty built POS on my rig is embarrassing.

Ive always HATED those bumpers!
I thought you were heading out of town?

BTW, I Pounded out that dent in the rear 1/4...its actaully came out decent. I was surprised. Aside from the scratches, you really wouldnt notice it at first glance.

Yeah I'd even put a stock bumper rather than the Smitty POS. You should hurry up and get a tube bender so I can buy your cool looking bumper.

Not leaving until after the holiday so we can avoid traffic.

Good to hear the rear quarter was an easy fix. Have you ever considered a Krylon Paint job? It makes touch easy. Speaking of which I still need to slap some more bondo on my PS rear quarter and give it a fresh coat of hunter Green:lol:

BTW...
Do 60 series axels work under a 40?
What is the modification process like?

Chicago, as I have not yet tackled the bumper biuld. I would be interested in your rear bumper if no one else replies. Just let me know how much, etc. Thanks and have a good 4th.
David.

Also, yes, 60 axles work under a 40. When I swapped out my axles ,I gave mine to a guy I knew to use under his 40. From what I could gather he just turned the front slightley and slung it under. The rear was even easier by just welding new perches on top and bolting her up.

Will do on the bumper.
The only thing that I was thinking...my rear 1/4 are chopped, so that will affect both you and Rusty.
Nothing too terrible, but something to think about.
If Rusty doesnt want to buy it, Ill hit you up for sure. He does have first dibs though.

Chopping sheet metal is no problem on my cruiser. She isn't that pretty to begin with. Thanks for giving me a shot at it.

My 1/4's are pretty well smashed up anyway so hacking them off wouldn't be an issue.

Well ya know your already sprung over so take 18 inches off the ass and go from there bro thats my plan with my 60 and that will take some weight off and shorten it at the same time like the looks of that flatbed but im old school keep as much of the original look as possible and go for it anyway just my 2 cents bro
